Summarize it. Summary length should be 2 ½ -3 ½ pages – not to exceed 5 pages (double spaced, 12 pt font, Times New Roman).
The summary should be organized this way:
–1 paragraph to describe the rationale (what is known about this issue and what the current research hopes to contribute);
–1 paragraph describing the methods;
–1-2 paragraphs describing the findings & conclusion;
–1 paragraph on what you think about the research, what questions you may still have, what significance do the findings have for the field, etc.

Summary is due on the day you present. Turn in the summary paper and the article together (hard copies).
Even though I do not expect you to follow strict APA style for the summary, I DO expect you to not plagiarize and to cite appropriately.
Sign up for the presentation and then select an article that relates to the course material covered during the time of your presentation. The lecture schedule will help you with this.
Presentation: present your research to class – 5 min. or so. DO NOT READ YOUR SUMMARY PAPER – USE NOTE CARDS. Points will be taken off for reading from your paper or the article. Come prepared to talk about what you learned from the research article.
You are responsible to keep track of your presentation date. If you miss your date, you may not be able to make up the presentation.
