Depend on the resoucres

  • You could search daily newspapers, magazines, and other similar resources to find examples of advertising that you consider to be deceptive or otherwise objectionable.
    • For examples:  one student looked at magazine clothing advertisements that use young models in sexually suggestive poses. She used these ads to explore questions about the impact of advertisers on sexual morality. She further used her findings to argue that advertising encourages sexual activity without teaching about such problems as unwanted pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases.
    • Other examples could be advertisement cases that showcase product placement, or general forms of deceptive advertising.
  • You could search business press, ethics books, and other similar resources to find interesting stories on business ethics that particularly highlight an ethical dilemma.

  • You could search the resources related to effective decision-making in order to identify tools and models that would help you improve your Personal Ethical Framework.

  • You could review the resources related to cross-cultural ethics to pinpoint new findings on identifying and resolving such issues. This could research be expanded into highlighting predictions about future of business ethics across the globe.

  • You could search the literature on business ethics to see if you can find additional Ethical Frameworks and models similar to those discussed in the class. In case you find any, feel free to use them in your final paper.

Please note that these are just some suggestions. Feel free to use any related research direction that you find best fit to the purpose of this assignment. Please write a one to two page memo about your findings and their importance and relevance to the course content.
