The essay should be the expansion of five resources. This essay should have your own original idea. And each resource should related to the topic of Economic anti-Semitism.
One 6-7-page final paper. This paper should represent an extended discussion of one of the topics/dilemmas addressed in the course. (Economic anti-Semitism)
- Choose five resources that relate to your final paper topic. Your resources should include:
- An encyclopedia/reference source (Wikipedia, Jewfaq.org, myjewishlearning.com etc.)
- A website (as a primary source, such as thejewishmuseum.org, rjchq,org, yivo.org etc.)
- A newspaper/magazine article
- A peer-reviewed scholarly article
- A primary source (such as the movie, TV show, art work, music, etc that you will be analyzing for your paper).
- For each resource, clearly name your source and write one paragraph evaluating its quality and reliability for academic research. You should consider the following questions in your evaluation (we understand that you may need to apply these questions differently to each resource):
- What do you know about the author (expertise, profession, other writings)?
- What is the author’s main argument? What evidence does the author use to support that argument?
- Why did the author create this source? What might be his/her motivation or underlying agenda?
- What are the strengths of this source? What can you trust about it?
- What are the weaknesses of this source? What concerns do you have about it?
- You should include a PROPERLY CITED bibliography using the Chicago Style Author-Date Citation.

Your paper should be double-spaced, one inch margins, Times New Roman 12 point font, and 1-2 pages in length. Please write in complete sentences. You may reference or quote printed materials, but make sure that all such references are properly cited.
