Latin American communities and the United States
Symbolic Interaction helps us grasp how people create and interpret the experiences of their social lives. This applies to racial and ethnic groups also in that they are not simply passive in their interactions with other groups in a society, but are rather creatively responsive to their circumstances. With this in mind discusses and illustrates ways (people, cultural traits or customs, words, ideas, etc.) in which Latin American communities have contributed to the social and cultural fabric of the United States.
