Task #1 – We have begun our discussion of international exchange markets.  Find two articles that discuss current events/factors that are effecting the exchange market for two foreign currencies.

For each article:
a. Provide a 1-3 sentence background on the current event you are analyzing.
b. Explain how this event has affected the demand or supply for the currency and why.
c. Explain if this leads to a rise or drop in the value of the currency.
d. Explain if this leads to a rise or fall in net exports and why.

Task #2 – Your first journal assignment was to identify 5 macroeconomic discussions that were unclear to you.  For one of these topics, use your economic knowledge to answer what was previously unclear to your before.

Article Restriction: Any Wall Street Journal article published during the week of May 6th or earlier.  Use proper MLA citation.
